Approved Evaluator of the AKC Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog, & Temperament Testing
& Canine Conditioning Fitness Coach (CCFC)
Heather is an Approved AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator, qualified to conduct official CGC testing as well as AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy and Trick Dog evaluations. Whether you’re preparing for a title or just want to build a well-mannered, confident companion, Heather can guide you through every step—from training to testing and beyond.
AKC Group Certification Programs Group classes are announced seasonally based on demand and trainer availability. Specific days and times are scheduled once enrollment is confirmed. Class sizes are limited to 5–10 dogs.
AKC STAR Puppy — $225 8–12 week program | Test Day: $15
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) — $275 4–6 week program | Test Day: $25
CGC Advanced (CGCA) — $325 4–6 week program | Test Day: $35
CGC Urban (CGCU) — $350 4–6 week program | Test Day: $40
Private One-on-One
Private training provides individualized coaching focused on obedience, behavior
modification, puppy foundations, and owner education. These options are ideal for dogs
needing focused guidance, customized support, or remote coaching.
Private Puppy Foundations (Breeder Referrals & New Puppy Owners)
Designed for puppies 4–6 months of age to build structure early. Focus includes crate
training, handling, engagement, confidence-building, social exposure, and age-appropriate
foundations in the home environment.

General Private Training
4 Private Sessions — $440
6 Private Sessions — $600
CGC & Obedience Private Preparation
Private CGC preparation is priced the same as obedience training because the core skills are
identical. CGC simply applies certification standards to these behaviors.
CGC Prep — $110 single | $420 (4) | $600 (6)
CGCA Prep — $120 single | $460 (4) | $660 (6)
CGCU Prep — $130 single | $500 (4) | $720 (6)
E-Collar Training Add-On
$200 — includes proper introduction, conditioning, and handler education.
Board and Train Programs
We use a balanced, respectful approach—clear structure, fair boundaries, and plenty of praise—while focusing on your dog’s mental and physical well-being. We take only a few dogs at a time, so your pup gets our full attention and a truly personalized experience.
Foundations Board & Train
A structured basic obedience and lifestyle foundation program. Master sit, down, stay, leash manners, calm behavior, and real-world exposure.

Extended Foundations & Structured Reliability For owners who want long-term structure and off-leash reliability with advanced obedience.
• 4 Weeks — $3,200
• 6 Weeks — $4,800
Behavior Modification & Rehabilitation Board & Train
For severe behavior cases requiring professional structure, impulse control, and rehabilitation.
• 4 Weeks minimum— $3,400
• 6 Weeks — $5,100
Extensions are billed at $850 per additional week
Doggie Vacation: $75 per night

Virtual Dog Training & Coaching
Not local? No problem. Heather now offers private dog training sessions over Zoom or FaceTime for anyone in the Northeast, with pricing starting at just $75! If you’ve wanted help but can’t make the trip, you can now work with Heather from the comfort of your own home. No experience needed—Heather will guide you step by step, whether you’re working on puppy basics, manners, leash walking, or challenges like reactivity or separation anxiety. You’ll get real-time feedback, answers to your questions, and a plan tailored for you and your dog.
Puppy Foundations (virtual) — $50 per session Obedience & Behavior Modification (virtual) — $75 per session
